Defining Mercurie's Core Elements
Mercurie's colour palette is inspired by Nigeria’s naira notes, celebrating its indigenous roots while maintaining a modern aesthetic that reflects its vision. The typography combines Bricolage Grotesque and Mona Sans, striking a balance between authority and warmth an essential combination for establishing trust and credibility with its audience and in the industry.

An Adaptive Visual System
A static brand wouldn’t reflect Mercurie’s forward-thinking and adaptive nature, so we developed a flexible visual system designed to evolve across various platforms and touchpoints. To further reinforce the brand’s strong local identity, we incorporated line and dot patterns inspired by the intricate hatchings found on the Nigerian currency, adding depth and cultural significance to Mercurie’s visual language.





Communicating Through Illustrations and Iconography
Custom illustrations and icons were designed to visually communicate Mercurie’s offerings and support messaging across web, product, and marketing materials, adding visual clarity and consistency to the brand’s communication. Angled at a similar angle to the cut-out in the logo, it creates a distinct and recognisable style that reinforces Mercurie’s identity.
